We woke up with some A/C trouble in the Blaze and decided to get it fixed here in Asheville before we made the long drive...wouldn't want it to lead to a breakdown (which has NEVER happened!) *except for that one time in Minneapolis....but still.

The BLAZE has NEVER let us down!!! *except for that one time.

We sat in the waiting room FOREVER.

Pat's friend, Pete, came to our rescue along with Don and Laurie. They picked us up and we all went to breakfast in town...I forget the restaurant, but it was super nice and we had fun walking around the city all day. Pete dropped us off back at the shop and we made our way to Louisville in the touched up Blaze....she's so refreshed now!

We made the drive to Louisville, KY and the Palace Theatre is a total work of art....

So are the vehicles that drive the streets of Kentucky...

Our dear friend Raina made the drive all the way from Columbus, OH...thanks Raina!

We stopped by one of our favorite places, HEINE BROS, for some coffee and snacks...mmm

K decied not to eat....he's trying to do his part.

Instead, we just gave him one of these from the van...

We picked up Christina some birthday gifts from Carmichael's and then headed back home to NYC....this was the last show of the tour!! We're sad, but also happy to see our friends again. Big thanks to Regina for taking us on tour and we'll be hitting the road again soon...just not with a super talented, hot, red-head this time. (instead, we'll just have K)

We've heard great things about Asheville, NC for years and were excited to FINALLY be playing here...our friends Laurie and Don Koster drove out from Charlotte and we had a great time with them after the show.

These are pics of Zac's guitar and K's pedals....not Don and Laurie. (unfortunately)

We walked around a bit and found some great vintage and book stores...I picked up these fresh kicks!

We also found toilet paper designed SPECIFICALLY for our amazing bass player, Pat.

The show was a lot of fun and we can't wait to come back...hopefully we can hang a bit more with the locals next time!

We were excited to play The Ryman tonight cuz it's super famous AND a bunch of our friends are coming....Kyle Andrews, all the Heypenny guys (and their lovely ladies), Lisa Brown, and, of course, our muffin man Beau from Computer Vs. Banjo.

Funny little story about this place...Pat's legendary cousin, Dennis Valentino, was driving across the country, got wasted, and was caught breaking into The Ryman running aimlessly around the stage. Within 24 hours, he climbed the fence at Graceland and started running towards the house. He was promptly tackled by 2 police officers on the lawn and thrown in jail. You're our hero Cuz!

The show was a lot of fun and we had a great time hanging out with everyone in the dressing room afterwards. Thanks for coming guys!

Nashville, TN (The Basement)

We somehow picked up a passenger in the Blaze by the name of "Bug" who rode with us for 3 straight days. It was hilarious. Here he is....

We're not sure when or how he got out, but he's missed and we got a little nervous cuz it's hunting season....Hope yer doin alright Bug!

Our memory is a little fuzzy at this point, but I think we played a show at The Basement on our night off. The Heypenny guys came out and so did some really cool new faces.

At one point a couple of girls came by with puppies trying to find homes for them. Apparently someone had tricked the girls earlier that night by allowing them to hold the dogs and then running off. Needless to say, the Blaze was not a safe home for these pups, but they were very cute so I'm sure it wasn't hard finding somebody.

We slept at our buddy Beau's house and did some Pilates in the morning with Denise Austin.

We left Denton and started our drive to Kirksville....the native architecture of Missouri is slightly less "regal" than other parts of the country...

It was a long drive and we ran out of water bottles...

Zac and Pat picked up a little something to help pass the time....

When we arrived, we met Courtney Hurd and her awesome Lady Crew. We also spotted this sign at a random gas station......

ummmmm...hello??? Forgetting somebody??? (COMEon)

We played the show that night and headed back to our hotel for some PAAAAAAARTYYYY-ing.

Except that never really happened.

There was a weirdie pregnant lady working the desk who wouldn't let us in the pool OR play video games. The lobby was a complete ghost town...bar was closed.

BUT

...she totally didn't catch us playing the BIG CRANE around the corner!@!@!!!!! (sucker)

Pat set out to win me this Pink teddy bear in overalls named "Norbit." One try baby.

He is now a part of the band and travels with us everywhere. He's so pumped to be out of that glass cage and seeing the world!

Day Off in Denton, TX

We had the day off and our friends McKenzie and Felicia came out to the Dallas show, so we decided to go visit them in Denton for the night. That means K is riding with us in the van now...yay! K's back! Let the good times roll....

good to have ya back buddy.

We rolled into town and hit up Dan's Silverleaf....that mysterious dark face in the middle is McKenzie of Midlake.

We met some of the local characters, heard some stories of David Bazan taking a shit, and then went back to McKenzie and Felicia's house. Their place is really really slick. McKenzie hung up pictures of some amazing musicians (including a few GIANT posters of himself) and their dogs were sweet as pie.

In the morning, we walked around Denton to check out some local "hotspots."

Of course we had to eat breakfast at Ruby's....

We think this picture of Felicia with the Old Court House should be Denton's new postcard, but they're not budging from that stupid City Hall one...

I mean it's an "okay" picture, but there's no hot girl in it! I mean COMEon people...basic marketing...get a clue.

We woke up and said goodbye to the Colwell's...we'd be back in March for SXSW, but Zac still cried....just a little...in his pants.

We played the Nokia Theatre in Dallas, TX and forgot to take pictures, BUT we met a bunch of nice people including this talented guy named Rolando who designed a poster for our NYC show....if anyone needs a designer, hit him up!

Good Morning. We're about to play our favorite show of the whole tour. And we don't even know it yet.

The day started out right when I got a text message from Mike McCarthy (Spoon) saying he's coming to the show and interested in working on our next record. (we felt like school girls at the valentine's day dance)

We were playing a sold out show in Zac's hometown at Stubb's and totally blown away by this crowd. They were AMAZING!

Zac's family was in the balcony being all sorts of proud, while MY family was being all sorts of loud...nice pipes Michelle!

We woke up to Mr. Colwell's famous potatoes and ate breakfast in the backyard like some fancy people do sometimes...

Mr. Colwell explained the derivation of each artifact Mrs. Colwell had collected and placed outside....3 hours later, we had covered them all. Lots of culture in that yard! Nice work Carolyn :)

We had a show in Houston, TX that night so we grabbed our things and drove to the venue...on the way, Zac cut his finger :( What are we gonna DO?!??! HE"S GONNA DIE OUT HERE!!!!!

Wait, wait...no he's not! Our dear friend Nurse Peggy had given us a First Aid Kit back in Florida...it's been living under the BLaze passenger seat....he's gonna be OK!

You saved his guitar career Peggy.

The Verizon Wireless Theatre is a really big place that sounded kinda weird. The space itself didn't have any charm so it's a good thing the PEOPLE at this show had plenty to go around....We were especially happy to see our friends Cassandra and Nydia there! Thanks for coming girls :)

After the show, we went back to Zac's parent's house so we could wake up bright and early in our favorite city, AUSTIN!

DAY OFF in Austin, TX

Damn Right!

We had the day of so Zac high-tailed our asses out of the hotel and into Austin faster than you could shake a stick....at...or something like that. Pat and I hopped out at the Post Office to mail a broken cymbal back to Zildjan and Zac and K went to Chez Colwell's for some peanut butter sandwiches.

Pat had some high school friends to meet up with and I had plans with so we decided to join forces and start the night a little early on 6th street. Pat's friend Marcus came by to join us for a spell...

Next we headed out to the "Matt's El Rancho on Lamar" for a good old fashioned Caesar Rodney Reunion...(Go Riders!)

That's me and Carrie who's recipe for "Hippie Tea" is famous all over Austin... (with her friends and AT LEAST 3 people who never even met her)

Please keep in mind that any expressions you see (or bad jokes you hear) are the result of Pat and I drinking since 3 in the afternoon.

We had so much fun with all our new friends...No one could believe that we were all basically strangers meeting for the first time, (with the exception of Krista and Pat who once sat next to each other on "Pizza Day.")

We also felt kinda bad cuz it was only about 7 o'clock and we were trashed. (no judgements...you guys are the best) Hope we see you again soon!

After dinner, Carrie took us to BIRD's BARBERSHOP in her grandfather's car cuz her wheels broke down the other day :(

Pat sat shotgun while I just rolled around in the back...

Jessica let us in for an after hours hang with hot records and cold beer...

Meanwhile back on the ranch, K and Zac were sipping fine wine and eating artisan cheese (whiz) with Alice and Chet...

The drive started out pretty confusing...mostly trying to recall the catastrophic events from the previous night (sorry Scott!). We had plenty of wind turbines and desert landscapes to relax our fretted nerves....

We made a pit stop for some Gas and Cheeze-Its in the most metropolitan of cities we could find:

The management was extremely articulate and well-spoken.

We drove as far and long as we could before finally stopping at our hotel. NO more Red Roofs!

We're all sorts of high class now....

...we took fancy showers and watched Robot Chicken on a giant TV.

The three of us cuddled up in his bed like Huey, Dewey, and Louie...

We woke up around noon and headed over to the venue....the show was a lot of fun and we got to see Zimmer's cousin and Pat's buddy "Schimmy!"

It's Jupiter One tradition to bring the frisky chics backstage after a show....my buddy Marshall's Mom was the lucky lady that night....

We went back to Scott's house for "after hours" where he let me and Pat drive his super, bad-ass, red, sporty-sportster sport car. The next morning we awoke to this guy...

...and some breakfast burritos delivered to us by the man himself. After eating our way back into consciousness we hit the road for Houston, TX.

Sunshower Tour w/ Regina Spektor (Day 38)

Salt Lake City, UT (@ In The Venue)

We woke up fully refreshed from the fancy-pants treatment of the hotel and headed to the club for load-in. We arrived to an amazing lunch spread and my new pals Greg and Keith had my 2nd drum set all lined up and ready to hit. Me and K did a long soundcheck/rehearsal with Regina, then set up Jupiter One town. We didn't know what to expect in Utah (our first time playing here), but I have to say the crowd in Salt Lake City was killing...we had an amazing show. Unfortunately, we forgot to take pics, but we met A LOT of real nice folks and look forward to coming back.

K and I played with Regina next and everything went smoothly....We were just super psyched to be eating all this good food (now that half the band is Regina's)....hooray for nutrition and stuff!

Our show tomorrow night is in Denver, CO so we had to drive through the night. (when I say "we" it should be noted that it REALLY means "Bandit and The Cat." Pat and Zac respectively.) K rides the fancy tour bus cuz he's a big lazy puss-puss who doesn't respect the SilverBlaze anymore...whatever!

As you know, my primary function during these long drives is Mayor of Screen Town. I managed to pick up this handy device at a gas station to maximize Night-Screening™

The drive through the mountains was incredible....

The only thing MORE incredible than the scenery, was the police officer who stopped Pat for doing about 40 mph over the speed limit. The guy was SO psyched to pull over a rock band from New York that he just hung out asking questions about music, traveling, and girls and stuff. We gave him a copy of our album and he sent us on our merry way with a wave and smile. HILARIOUS! It took me and Pat about 2 hours to believe it wasn't a dream. Zac was sleeping in the backseat through all of this...

As the sun came up, we just stared at the universe with a smile....

We arrived to the city of Denver and headed straight to Pat's friend Scott's house. This guy is THE all-time bro of bros hailing from Mount Brolympus. He woke up at 6am to let us sleep in his bed while he headed over to his friend's house to finish sleeping. He also had his fridge pre-stocked with 100 PBR cans in anticipation of our arrival. What a fucking hero! This is Scott....

Sunshower Tour w/ Regina Spektor (Day 37)

Blaze to Utah

There's a searchlight fixed to the midnight sky...it's beaming a symbol of the Blaze and we MUST get to Salt Lake City in 24 hours.

Regina, Dan, and K will be waiting there to run through the songs, cuz we have NO time to fuck around before the show at "In The Venue."

Here's where the teamwork of Jupiter One really shined. Allow me to break it down:

Seattle- we get the call. I need to learn all Regina's songs in 24 hours. Zac took the wheel and started for Utah.

Pat (the Berklee Audio Engineering Grad and the only man besides Zac and K who knows I'm way too technologically inept to do this) takes a huuuuugely big file of Regina's show in Massachusetts and cuts it up into bits and pieces. He worked through the night, while I got some shut-eye... I awoke to find, what laymen call, "tracks" on the computer.

At this point, Pat sleeps and Zac (the fearless pilot) still drives...

Meanwhile, I take the tracks from Cecil and upload them onto my iPod. This is where I spend the next 15 hours listening to her music and trying to visualize how I'd play it. There will be no drums in sight until I play this music with her for the first time in Utah...

I had headphones on, writing out drum parts while we made our way across Washington and Oregon.

We made maybe one or two stops the whole way...

Awake from his sleep, Pat now relieves the colonel....

...and continues driving.

Zac's turn to sleep after a long shift of keeping her steady.....I'm still learning the music.

Basically, Pat and Zac killed themselves driving on little sleep, little food, and NO alcohol. It was only fair that they be provided with a super deluxe hotel room....

We made it to the rehearsal with time to spare...."Bandit and the Cat" did it again! Heroes amongst men....they delivered me safely and hit the streets hard to celebrate.

I was back at the studio playing with Regina, Dan, and K....

The music all came together like fine wine spilling onto an expensive, short party dress. Along with K, I was now gonna be doing double duty for the rest of the tour, but the Boys of the Blaze would be laying our heads on bigger, softer pillows. (ahhhhhh...)

Seattle, WA (day off)

We woke up in a hotel...one of those super ones with an 8 on it. We planned on having a nice, cozy day off here in Seattle where we could get ourselves into some trouble. Turns out someone beat us to it...

Really?... So early in the morning????

All the excitement worked up an appetite, so we headed to one of our favorite tour stops, The Skylark Cafe for some breaaaaaaakfast.

With bellies full, we headed across town to Shorty's...

Me and Zac played some pinball, I watched him drink some beers, and Pat slept in the van. (too many potatooooooooooooooes)

After 6 rounds of Love Boat Pinball, the smell of hot dogs was becoming too tempting so we decided to wake up old patty pants and head over to Cha Cha Lounge....

We came in, got some drinks, and couldn't help but notice we might be the only guys in Seattle looking to get drunk at 4pm on a Monday.....

hmmm...perhaps everyone's out on the patio???

ah. okay. Pat- you text. Zac- you smoke. I'll just sit over here on this chair...

We did wind up meeting a couple cool people, but then we got the call on my BatPhone. Matt has an emergency and needs to stay here in Seattle. Can I learn all of Regina Spektor's songs and finish out the tour?

Sure!

With the help of my fellow brothers, we can do anything. We had to cut our Seattle night short and get in the Blaze right away...next show is in Salt Lake City, UT and we have 48 hours.

Someday we'll take back the night we left behind Seattle!!

We spent the night in a swanky-dank hotel across the street and then got hyped for our trip to Seattle...mainly cuz we had a BAG OF GIFTS WAITING FOR US!

As sad as it was to leave Canada, we know this hot air balloon will always be right there...in our hearts.

(but not floating exactly. cuz then our hearts would wind up in our throats or something. so hopefully the symbolic Canadian balloon is just kinda orbiting around in the chambers. just being there. as a reminder. of the good times. and Jenna.)

We hit the road and for those who have been, you know that the drive in Washington is NEVER disappointing...

When we got to the Paramount, Zac and I headed out for some shopping...new underwear time!!!

We also picked Pat up a pair of new socks and a shirt for K .....It's his BIRTHDAY!

The theatre is real real purrrrrrrrrdy....

After our set, we went into the lobby to slap Morgan on the nose and see some friends...The Olsen family's here!!!!

Zac asked them if we could borrow 40 bucks....

(he wasn't kidding, but quickly played it off)

We finally got to meet Val and Bill in real life.....thanks for the presents!!!

We also met some new friends like this girl....

During Regina's set we got to spend a lot of QT with Matt Chamberlain's pride and joy...his wife Dan'a.

She's as smart as she is pretty and writing a book right now on vampires that makes Robert Pattinson look like a care bear.

Sunshower Tour w/ Regina Spektor (Day 34)

Vancouver, Canada (@ the Orpheum Theatre)

After an interesting night of coked up cougars banging on the hotel door and window at 2 hour intervals, we hopped in the Blaze and headed north. Off to see our friendly neighbors in Canada!! It is without any sense of irony that I say, Jupiter One loves Canada. We have always felt, since our first trip up to T-dot for CMW back in 2008, that Canadians are what human beings are like in our minds. (if that makes any sense)

We approached the border with loads of vodka and unsure if it's allowed. We drank as much water as we could, started pouring the vodka into water bottles, and then re-sealing them.

We crossed over very easily, but now we had two problems.

1) I have to pee. a lot.

2) We don't know which bottles are water and which are vodka.

We decided to make a game of it and set some rules. If you're thirsty and ask for a water...you HAVE to drink whichever one fate puts in your hands. It was fun for awhile, but then it got nerve-wracking as we realized we may be too inebriated to even soundcheck let alone play a show.

That was a super fun bridge to cross....We forgot to take pics at the show, but the Orpheum was great and we met a real nice girl with a cool hair-cut named Jenna Ledger. Hi Jenna!

Portland, OR (Roseland Theater)

We woke up on the first of November and drove into town looking for sneakers, coffee, and Amy Dubin. This kid tried to take us off the line...

HA! Nice try kid...

Next time make sure you don't have a fat Dad tuggin' you around...we're in the BLAZE damnit! You didn't stand a chance.

We got to the Hawthorne area and tried finding some stuff at the Red Light and Buffalo Exchange, but no luck. We also wanted some pancakes from the Cup & Saucer, but the wait was too long, so we went to Noah's Bagels. It was there that we finally DID find something we were looking for....AMY DUBIN!

After we had some breakfast, Amy walked us around to some other stores for the sneaker quest, but it was fruitless.

The cars in Portland made us sigh...

We dropped her off near her "appointment" and headed to the club for load-in. The Roseland Theater is RIGHT across the street from a really cool bar called "Ground Kontrol." It's got a million old school video games!

This game has significant meaning to us cuz all the cup holders in The Blaze are named after a Ninja Turtle. Zac and I were fighting over who has to be Rafael...

each game comes fully equipped...

Needless to say, we almost missed our show...Pat came running back with the order to get on stage

Zac didn't take it very well....

The show must go on! And so does my Spice Girls T-shirt!

That's the world famous awesome head drummer Matt Chamberlain. McKenzie had to get back in the studio with his band MIDLAKE so Matt's playing drums for Regina now. He's the nicest guy ever and we're excited to hang with him!

We played a fun set for a pretty rad crowd and I think my shirt made Pat rock extra hard (on).

He's always had a thing for Baby Spice....I think that's why he likes K so much.

After the show we paid homage to the greatest PBR mural ever...

...and set out to find the most infamous resident of Portland.

This search started and ended at the Jupiter Hotel where we laid our heads to rest. It's the best place to stay in all the wild west and if yer ever in Portland....get a room!

Day Off in San Francisco

We woke up in Casa De Sex Machine and got some breakfast....Zac was busy dropping off Mark at the airport (byyyye Mark...we miss you!) and we have a million of these flyers so we strategically placed them in the crevices of every known coffee shop in town.

Eventually, the Blaze found it's way to mine and Panda's asses, so we bid Mike a fond farewell and took off for the "Glorious Golden Gate Bridge."

(by the way, that's not rain on the windshield)

This is one of our favorite tour stops and I recently did some research on its history.....

There's an old adage from Babylon circa 395 B.C. that states, and I paraphrase, "When a handsome panda hears the song of a sweet hummingbird,....

...the path to Paradise will present itself."

Behold!

The omens had spoken...We hopped in the Blaze and headed straight towards our destiny on Paradise Drive!

Through the tunnel...

...we traveled to the other side with bated breath and joyous anticipation to find?????

Oh. Guess we took a wrong turn onto Tamalpais :(

Well, it WAS Halloween night after all.

From here we just drove around till the spirit of the Kensington Wolves brought us safely to Portland, Oregon. But how shall we know when we've arrived??

ah.

We were soooooooo pumped to spend Halloween night in Portland. We just KNEW the streets would be filled with creepy, crawly drunkards dressed like crazy people walking in sadness. Mainly cuz that's what Portland ALWAYS looks like to us, but somehow we thought tonight might even be MORE bereft of soundness.

Turns out we didn't make it to the city until 4am...all the bars were closed and we were sad. So we spent Halloween dressed like disappointed musicians drinking cheap vodka from the bottle in a smelly Red Roof hotel room.

We woke up in a weirdie hotel (Duh.) and shook ourselves off. Time to hit the road to Oakland!

Its a beautiful day out and the road is paved with Subway™ and Outer Space Machines™

Its a long straight drive from LA to Oakland. We're all a little battered from the Fancy Colors show last night. We've got the Blaze wound up tight and some Tom Petty on the box! Little did we know that ol' Tom played the Fox Theatre that we're about to play tonight. That is a boosh.

We saw a bunch of our good friends and I took pictures of ALL of them. (Their good sides of course.) Here they are!

Woohoo!!! 5 bucks!! I immediately spent that on a picture with one-a my best buds Ali. What a bargain!

Then these guys paid me 5 bucks to take their picture! I couldn't be in it cuz then their moms would know they weren't at glee club or whatever... Thanks guys!

We had a great time! K met Anthony Scott (fantastic animator for films such as "Coraline" and "The Corpse Bride") backstage and coerced him to work on a new video for us. (Stay posted for that... should be rad.)

After the show we put K on the bus and went to try to catch Mike 'Sex Machine' Thompson's set with his band Tokyo Raid. We got there too late for the show, but just in time to help him load out. He was stoked!

Dave helped load out the pretty girls.

But he left all the drums and heavy stuff for Mike. Not so stoked...

Anyhoo... we went back to Mike and Kelly's place and watched Mike drink a buncha booze and make funny faces.

and Dave was all tuckered out.

I think Zac slept at his all-time buddy of all-time Fernando's house, and then picked us all up in the morning, including his favorite brother Mark. (yay!) We have the night off and Mark Colwell is here....Time to get Bryn out of the office!

...and get to work on learning some Fancy Colors songs.

mmmmmm...eh. Let's just stick him on saxophone...

(kidding of course!)

Bryn happens to be a Rennaisance man and full of raw talent. (But he DID play sax. I wasn't kidding about that part.) We've asked him to play with us at Silverlake Lounge...For those who don't know, "FANCY COLORS" is a side project featuring Zac on lead vocals/guitar, Panda on bass, Me on drums, and anyone else we feel like spending time with. Tonight that happens to be Bryn Mooser. He also has his own band called "PROUD MARY" y'all should check out.

We had to start the day off right....

Next, we sat around a Mexican joint (Tacos, Tacos, Tacos, Tacos) all day. Literally, ALL fucking day. We met a pair of sisters who had recently done jail time and liked to go hiking. They stayed with us at the taco place for a few hours until they realized they were staying at a taco place for a few hours.

We watched the sunset, had another soft shell chorizo, and then drove to Silverlake Lounge. We were excited to be playing our very first West Coast Fancy Colors show and had an impressive guest list at the door. Read something like this:

That gave us some clout at the club (as well as a few extra drink tickets) so we set up and watched while 8 or 9 people rushed the stage. It was MAYHEM!

In all honesty, we DID have some really close friends at the show and we appreciate it. Especially JESS! :)

We made some good music and then made a get-away for the Warner Music party downtown. We hung with our new friend Danielle Bond and met some people, drank a little, blah, blah, blah...oh shit! ALL our stuff is still at the club....hopped in the Blaze and Dukes of Hazard(ed) our way back to Silverlake. We made it just in time and packed the stuff up.

A perfect mast.

On the drive back to the hotel, I blew a GaskeTronic 5000 and embarrassed myself in front of Mark. (sorry Zac!)

Tonight, we sleep. Tomorrow, we play Oakland......comin at ya sex machine mike!

Dave and I woke up at a Super 8 on Sunset Strip (classssssayyyy) and went to Brite Spot to meet my friend Tony Crowe for some breakfast snacks. Tony is hilarious. He almost made my omelet come out of my nose. He and I used to work together in Boston for a guy named Tom Love. (Tom Love is the voice behind Van Pilates... ah.) Zac showed up and we took off for the GREEK THEATRE!

The Greek is an amazing outdoor joint in LA that makes you feel like you're in some other country. One where they have woodland nymphs and fur wearing centaurs... Here are some pics:

Its almost time for us to start! Let's go peek at the audience.... Oh.

Kidding! Of course every one of the 6000 seats had asses in them when we hit the stage! Right before we went on K bestowed the greatest gift any man has ever given any other man in the history of California. He made Dave a ridiculous beat-machine-slash-microphone-rap-superhero-device. Its called the MAN/MACHINE!

Dave went into overdrive. Freestyle rapping up and down everybody he came across. It was intense. He positioned himself atop the VIP entrance stairs and forcefully rapped in the faces of all VIPs, including:

There we were...

Hungover. Aunt Ryoko knocking on the bedroom doors. "Breakfast is ready!" The smell of bacon in the air... Exactly like we remembered it. It hurt. It was beautiful.

We woke up to the sound of dishes being laid out and eggs cracking... Oh... and the gong pounding in our brains. Zac and I were about to have a very civil sit-down with Uncle Jim and Aunt Ryoko and we would be perfect gentlemen... if we could only pull ourselves together.

We ate. We yapped. We drank quarts of coffee. We looked at art. We got showers. We made plans to get dropped off in a touristy part of San Diego. Meanwhile... in a faraway land... Dave did situps. He had the BLAZE™ and there was no telling how long he would be working on his glutes and pelvs.

Uncle Jim drove us to some wierdo place in San Diego that was like being in an Old West themed amusement park. He treated Zac and I to tacos and a couple beers and sent us on our way. Zac tried to sleep on a bench like a hobo. I convinced him that it was way more classy to drink tequila while the sun was out... like a TRUE hobo.

After a couple he got warm... and the coats started to peel off... ladies: control yourselves...

Boosh.

Dave found us sitting in easy chairs by a fire talking about God-knows-what. It was one of the 3 times on tour he was relegated to driving duty. This is very terrifying and only allowed to happen when Zac and I are sleeping or drunk. Or both. Dave did a very good job. Maybe someday he'll be promoted to Junior Blaze™ Captain.

We saw Aaron Zimmer's van's cousin!

Zac woke up and fought his clothes.

When we got to L.A., Zac went to visit his friends and Dave and I went out to see his friend Sara Radle's band cover a bunch of Fleetwood Mac songs in traditional Fleetwood Mac costumes.

We rolled into San Diego pretty late last night and met up with our friends Stacy and Javi....they live in a fancy-pants condo and we had a good time catching up all night. (At least Pat and Zac did) I went straight to bed like a wimp...all that non-driving across the country wiped me out. It was great seeing them and even better waking up to THIS in the morning.....

We finally made it to California!

I ran around in short shorts while Pat and Zac sorted out all the t-shirts and CD's in the garage ...i'm sure the residents were confused. We showered up and drove to the House of Blues where we met McKenzie's replacement...Mr. Matt Chamberlain! (great drummer who played with Tori Amos, David Bowie, Pearl Jam, and now Regina Spektor)

The House of Blues has a VERY strict No-Leaning policy....we alerted K right away.

***For those who don't know, after a few drinks our singer K has a tendency to lean on anyone he's talking with....some parts of the country have gotten wind of this behavior and take the necessary precautions. Some examples have been seen below:

Back to the House Of Blues....we were couped up in the van for 4 days straight so playing felt REAL REAL good....

We were happy to see Stacy, Javi, Christine, and Jason again...they brought us cookies! We also had a ticket give-away on FACEBOOK and Pat's friend Stephanie Washburn won :) It was good to see her there with her friend Wave....Not to mention our home boy Matt Quillen!!!

After the show Pat and Zac went home with Uncle Jim Reid while I went home with Stacy and Javi....we had some drinks first around the corner where we met Sabra, and then headed back to the condo. Stacy passed out and Javi made me a RIDICULOUSLY awesome meal at 3am...thanks!

All right, DAVE!!

Finally, time to get a goddamn word in edgewise. If there's one thing you ought to know about Dave, dear readers, is that he talks and talks and talks day and night. Talks to everybody he sees about everything under tha sun. Talks in his sleep. Its endless. When he's not talking, he's typing. Fast. Furious. We put weights on his fingers to slow him down, but he counteracts that with protein powder. Strongest fingers ever. Anyhooooooo....

Zac and I left the venue with his Uncle Jim. Time for us to get schooled by the master. Zac's uncle, as you may remember from last year, is a fascinating individual... an informational powerhouse of all things music. He knows everything. He tries to teach us everything, but then hampers us with mixed nuts and wine until I usually fall asleep mid-sentence. Which I did... but, not before hearing some amazing recordings and getting my mind blown with this visit's topic of discussion: Does music influence recording technology, or the other way around? You're answer must be no less than a million words. You have 5 minutes. Go!

Jupiter One Goes to The Grand Canyon!

We woke up in some weirdytown and followed signs for the Northern Rim. The drive was a little longer than expected, but that's just cuz we're so excited!

When we got to the Park Entrance, we were told it costs money to get in!!!! We couldn't afford it, so we didn't get inside. But we DID find this highly detailed map....it's beautiful!

As we started to drive back we saw some wildlife....

Naturally, we shot them. Then sold the pelts to some local shop keeps and earned ourselves just enough money to cover the price of admission! (*all except the bear. That one turned out to be bronze) We drove right back around and got ourselves to the Grand Canyon.....

Now you might be asking yourself, "How did this get here and where did all the water go??" Good question. Watch this video for answers...

At some point we had lost Pat...it was clear he must've lost his footing and plummeted to his death...we called out to him FOREVER, but after 40 to 50 seconds we had lost hope. He was gone :(

Even this sign warned us of the dangers that lie in extreme Arizona heat....

We bowed our heads in respect and uttered a few words on behalf of the family and friends that will miss him over the years.....What a great bass player. What a great MAN. So sad. So tragic.

Then we heard something, "Hey Guys! I'm over here!"

He's alive! So weird!! I mean, who would've guessed in a million years that he'd just up and walked all the way over THERE????? We just figured he was dead. So amazing!!! We didn't let him out of our sight for the rest of the day...

Zac and Pat talked about things that had been left un-said for way too long.....

We each took some time to reflect on what life was like when we thought Pat was gone forever...

Pat was unclear as to what exactly he was supposed to be reflecting on so we decided to head out and go visit my buddy Jim Maurer. He and his wife Lynn just had a baby and live in Phoenix (-ish).

We got to the Maurer house and Sean was wearing a rocker's onezie...

I showed her what a rock band's van looks like....

Turns out she's more of a "Tour Bus" type. She started bawling...Apparently whenver Sean gets cranky, the only thing that makes her feel better is dressing up like a hot dog.

Jim and Lynn know that we're always starving so they ordered some pizzas while we taked about Lynn giving birth and Jim running triathlons. Congrats to both of you and we hope to see you again soon!

Okay. It's the morning. You ready for some serious spinal movement, Pat?!

Kaci made good on her promise for Pat's birthday present.....She was great and anyone in the Amarillo, TX area looking for some adjusting should give her a call!

Now Pat was feeling like he could take on the open road again for a couple more days...

One of Pat's closest friends and former employers, Jim, is a trucker....he and his girlfriend, Amy, travel around the country all year round. Occasionally, we'll be able to cross paths....today is one of those days and it MUST be fate cuz it's Pat's birthday and yesterday was JIM's birthday (also mine). Apparently, the best bass player of our lifetime likes Oct. 23rd babies the mostest.

We figured out which rest stop to meet him and gave his truck a free check-up....

Yup. All clear. Good seeing you guys!

We got back on the road, but the Birthday Boy needed a pick-me-up.....

Pat's birthday was coming to an end...while he counted the FB birthday wishes, to see which one of us had more,

...we got ourselves to an Arizona hotel.....Grand Canyon in the morning!!!

Happy Birthday Pat....we crossed a couple time zones and celebrated our birthdays together for 51 hours.....love you!

We stopped off at a TARGET earlier and I picked him up some presents.......nothing says rock 'n' roll like some Ginger Tea and Pilates Workout Bands!

We decided Amarillo, TX was just as good a place as any to pull over and celebrate Panda's birth.....(we wound up pulling over for a speeding ticket first), but THEN we pulled over for some fun....after another round of my specialized cold-calling technique for "happening" bars:

We settled on a place called "DUKE TRACY's,"

Pat should blend RIGHT in with the "No Gang Colors" policy...

What lied behind those doors...no one knew. But what we found was a TX dive bar paradise!

I knew right away we had found the place....this was perfect. The dance floor was alternating every 20 minutes between country Kareoke and Booty Bass Club Music.....inter-racial dancing on one side of the room while racist skin heads played pool on the other.....this was a room FILLED with tension and good times!

The rest of the guys weren't convinced....

...but give them a few whiskeys with a burrito and all is well...

We even helped this nice girl Kaci win a bet....

Apparently her and some friends were gambling on one of two things. We were either musicians.... or gay. Turns out Kaci is a Chiropractor and Pat needed an adjustment...so we felt it only fair that since we won her some $$, she hook him up with some back-cracks in the morning.

Things started to pick up at the bar just before last call and you can really see some folks workin' the floor...(* see video)

Alas, we were finally kicked out with the rest of the Amarillo socialites and sent to our lodging of choice.....

Now THAT's how you have an Amarillo B-Day....Cheers to us.

So we woke up the next morning....

...still laughing at Doogie Howser as a "bad ass".... but now we had to get to Cali and we're only in fucking PENNSYLVANIA! After putting Los Angeles in as our destination, even Georgine had NO idea when we'd get there...

Nothing to do....but drive. So we did. All day.

And by "we" I mean Zac and Pat...

They've formed their own little driving team called "The Lightning Bandits," where Pat is "Panda" and Zac is "The Cat."

I just watch for storm systems to chase....

Not much else happened.....By the time it hit midnight we were in Missouri and it was officially my birthday! Time to make some calls...gotta find a local bar that's "happening."

We quickly pulled off to a shady hotel and went straight to the weirdy bowling alley bar for a PIZZA PARTY! Only like 2 locals in there playing awful country...not sure if they appreciated my domination of the jukebox, but....who cares. It's my birthday. (boosh)

We were eating, drinking, and listening to Led Zeppelin all night....

Today we start our drive to Cali hung over and tired...luckily we had K's daughter buckled in and ready to drive the first 500 miles or so....

just kidding. We didn't REEEEAAAAALLY let a 3 year old drive the Blaze...but we DID let her Mom give us all the food she had in the house for our trip...thanks Keiko and Sola!!!

We kinda got off to a late start....which is why the sun was already setting as we crossed the Garden State....

We were happy to be back in the van and headed to the warmth of Los Angeles so we just listened to a new mix CD sent from FL and ate all the food Keiko packed....

No time to stop Zac! Just EAT it!!!

I think Pat was just screening and eating nuts with an occasional Diet Coke. It doesn't take much to sustain life whilst sitting in a van for 3,500 miles. (THAT's why you need VanPilates. Coming soon...)

That first day of driving was long and hard....we were proud of how much land we covered. So you can imagine the heartbreak when we eventually pulled off at a hotel to find out we were in Pennsylvania...wtf?? That state never ends! ugh.

We needed some help coping....nothing a little Bulleit "Hallie" Bourbon and some Starship Troopers couldn't fix.....

NYC @ Mercury Lounge (CMJ Birthday Show)

We woke up the next morning feeling like a long-eared taxi just dragged us up a cliff by our ankles....tonight was our CMJ showcase at Mercury Lounge and a bunch of friends were coming to celebrate our birthdays so we NEEDED to rally. Mine is October 23rd and Pat's is the 24th, but we'll be in the van driving towards the West Coast on those days, so tonight's the night for celebration....we kicked things off at one of Pat's favorite haunts, No Malice Palace....

Among some of the amazing friends that hung that night was our favorite manager Ryan....he got us Sumo Thumb Wrestlers!

We all went home to sleep in our own beds after the Danbury show since Philly is so close. On our way down, we stopped by 105.7 to do a studio recording for the radio station....

Today is a busy one....we have to get down to my cousins garage by 3pm to fix that side-view mirror. He owns a shop on Torresdale Avenue in Philly and ALWAYS takes care of the Blaze whenever she's sick or hungry.

Or, in this case, whenever she's been jumped by a couple of hoodlums in Brooklyn :(

As soon as we got to Millevoi Bros., we gave Nick a hug and a t-shirt.....

It was definitely an UPgrade so now the Blaze looks a little goofy with one side more hi-tech than the other, but it's cool. Now she's kinda like Bionic-Blaze.

Pat threw some new wipers on her too. Now we can see through ANY shit storm, the cars behind us, and even into the future.

We loaded into the club, walked to a shady joint for some "PTD Approved" vodka (passion fruit A.K.A. "Burning Man"), and mused on life in the van.

My sister and bro-in-law showed up with a Funfetti Cake from my Mom...

Back to the cake business...We quickly made a wish, blew out the candles, and served it up to all the hungry musicians in the club...thanks for bringing it our way Susan and Jeff!

Our wish came true! A very generous fan showed up with his lady to buy us all shots and drinks....thanks Matt and Dana :)

And not a moment too soon. My cousin Erica and her friends just showed up...now we can embarrass the whole family!

Thanks to the generous flow of alcohol (even my Aunt Annie came to the show bearing some gifts) we put on an extremely fun/drunken show. But you couldn't tell...until we tried walking OFF the stage. And that was ME AND MY ARROW's doing....thanks for the round guys >:(

We woke up the next morning and had some crazy, weird, middle-eastern breakfast quiche thing that Debbie made. It looked nuts, but it tasted great...

J.P. sent us off in the van with this book of written works regarding his fictitious, dream band "DINGO BOOTS."

To live inside J.P.'s head for just one minute would be I-N-C-R-E-D-I-B-L-E....he's amazing.

Pat updated his status......

....and off we went to Danbury, CT. (***little known fact---we actually have no idea WHAT we're doing or WHERE we're going until Pat updates his FB status. We all go to his page to figure out what's happening)

The drive was a cake jog and we were excited to meet up with our old friends from Minneapolis ME AND MY ARROW

They were on tour at the same time so we got to meet up for 2 shows! Their T-Shirts are kick-ass and their music is kick-dick. You should definitely check them out if you ever get a chance.....

Pat's elementary school buddies Russell and Mammoth Boy came out to the show....

One time Mammoth Boy picked up a car when he was 15. He also threw up all over the table at a Boy Scout meeting after drinking too much water. Good to see you Mark the Magical Mammoth! (as confirmed by the Catholic Church)

Our faithful fan, Matt, came out to the show.

He also saw us in Northampton, MA a few days ago, but what's special about this guy in particular is his last name. "Bergeron." That also happens to be the last name used by Kurt Vonnegut in one of my favorite short stories, Harrison Bergeron.

Arlington, VA @ IOTA

We got on the road and left Chapel Hill for Arlington, VA....

The drive was a pretty one....

We got to the club super early for an ALL AGES show and hung with our friends Bellflur and Big Bang TV all day....Ice Man beat Margo there so we got some food with him at Whitlow's before the show started.

We missed the BBTV photo op, but they put on a great show and we were SO psyched to meet Matt Brehoney's family....Our set was a lot of fun, but the best part is always seeing our friends like Robin, Alison Yard, Amy, Dan, Erica, Kerri, Dane, Suzie,Burns, and Steven...see you again soon we hope!

After the show, we all hopped in the van and went to Papa Brehoney's house in Vienna.....J.P.'s the name, and fun times with fried potatos' the game.

His wife Debbie had cute glasses and songs for the masses...(*see video)

Many a fun times were to be had at the beautiful Brehoney home. J.P. actually designs them for a living and he's INcredible...check out his living room

He even created a room dedicated to listening and performing live music! He calls it the "Beat Cafe"....

J.P. kicked things off with some acoustic versions of songs by The Beatles, Leonard Cohen, and he even threw in his own take on "Countdown." This guy is solid gold. We love him. He invited his pride & joy up next for some Big Bang TV tunes....later we joined forces for a Dreamstreet re-union and performed "Girl, Don't You Know You're Everything to Me, This Time, Girl?"

Although we had iLighters raised for an encore, K insisted on stepping up with some songs of his own....

Debbie was inspired and came up to join him on a number or two.....

The crowd was mesmerized...

At intermission we all went to snack town in the kitchen....

Debbie was on bacon duty all night...

Kate's milkshake was bringing boys to the yard...

Drew and Pat were battling for who's plaid-er...

...and I was getting a tan.

After 20 minutes in "the booth" I decided to get the beatz ready for some freestyle-improv Kriss Kross style...

Bring on the Haiku-Based RaP Talk!

Haiku-Based Rap, or "HBR," is a special skillset that involves breaking down the traditional lyrical 4 line form of ABAB. In HBR, the rapper will rhyme the first 2 lines, not the 3rd, and replace what WOULD BE the 4th line with an eastern melody on the syllables "Da-na."

Like so,

AABC where C is not a lyric, but the eastern melody.

For example:

A: My name is Dave and I got a gun,

A: It don't have bullets cuz I only shoot fun,

B: I bought it from a guy named Steve Galbini

C: Da-na-na-na-na'-na'-na'-na'-naaaa

I think poor Kate is the only one who stuck around to watch the whole "performance."

After a long night we retired to our very own sleeping quarters ...

...where I was actually tucked in and told a bed-time story about Unicorns. Thanks Debbie and J.P.! (I had nightmares) just kidding. (except i'm not) all the unicorns died.

Chapel Hill, NC @ Players

We drove a few hours to Chapel Hill and got to our friend Nick Stroud's new club called PLAYERS. He co-owns it with a friend and we were very excited to be there. When we arrived for load-in there seemed to be some strange Hitchcock-esque madness happening amongst the birds....they just kept flying in circles right above our heads!

We walked around town, had some drinks with our friends Courtney and Cameron (Cameron plays drums in a band called AMINAL), and then went upstairs to hear the other bands....Tripp and Wylie Hunter played with us and we're happy to have such great guys to hang with all night. Thanks!

One of my high school friends Carrie drove all the way from Raleigh, so I owed her a few drinks. As you can see by those eyes, I made good :)

We kinda dropped the ball on pics that night, but bear hugs to Ashley, Mallory, and Lara for hanging out...thanks to Nick for taking such good care of us....and thanks to Cameron for the shelter!

Charlotte, NC @ The Evening Muse

We woke up super early the next day and took a 12 hour drive (traffic) to Charlotte, NC. Pat went home with his friends and decided to meet us at the rest stop on the NJ Turnpike. Clara Barton baby!!! On the drive down everyone was pretty beat.....Pat kept calling objects out that he saw along the way and telling his friend Ryan that it was him...

"See that dead tree there, Ryan? That's you." --

"See that Hobo out there hitch hiking, Ryan? That's you." --

"See that shitty Pick-Up truck, Ryan? That's you."

Granted it made no sense, but it was early and Ryan was in no mood...

Also, the time 10:41 happens to be a recurring theme in Pat's life...most every time he looks at the clock, he sees this....

It freaks him out and we're still trying to figure out the meaning behind it. Some guesses are as follows:

1) He's gonna die on October 41st.

2) He's gonna live to be 104.1 years old.

3) He was born in OCtober 1941 (in a former life).

4) He was born on January, 4th 0001 (several former lives ago)

We're not sure which it is yet. anywhooo, we picked him up and finally got to the Evening Muse around 9:30pm. It was a fun night because we played with our friends BIG BANG TV and it was also the 26th Wedding Anniversary of our friends Don and Laurie Koster! (Rock 'n' Roll Hotel). Big Bang TV sounded great and we had the best group of people come out to the show.....

After the show we hung with some old friends and then took Don for a ride in the Blaze...

Off to the R'n'R Hotel to eat Judy's cookies all night. The next morning we ate a HUGE breakfast and watched the Traveling Wilburys Documentary.....

We also watched an old VHS tape of Don winning a Harley Motorcycle by crawling around the basketball court in a Hornet's Mask Blindfold.....totally weird to see, but we're proud of you DON!!!!

We had a great time with you guys and your hospitality is always SUPER appreciated...thanks for spending your anniversary with us :)

NYC @ Radio City Music Hall (AHAWHAAAAT?!?!?!)

We spent the day off going to cousin Nichole's Miss Lonelyhearts Party and kicking it ALL mu'ffin' N-I-G-H-T!!! Raging until dawn......(at least that's what we planned on doing) ....sorry Nichole!

Can't remember what we all wound up doing instead, but I know Pat was riding the subways listening to YIELD....We had to wake up real early and load-in to the venue at 9am. ugh. It took Zac a minute to get there cuz some jerk-off bashed the sideview mirror off the Blaze....poor BLAZE!!! We issued a $5,000 bounty on the head of this mysterious vandal with Jon Sordoni.....if HE can't locate and disppose of the man's limbs, then it was a ghost or giant spider.

Pat even consulted the magic disco ball for answers.....

...no luck. It just kept saying, "party time."

We had a real solid crew of Union guys bringing the stuf in and they couldn't believe how "nice" we were. They kept telling us to be meaner, ...that they could handle it, but Zac just kept smiling with that sweet, boyish grin of his. (We're never gonna make it with this attitude) Thank God Pat stepped in when he did and slapped a guy square in the nuts. Totally saved our reputation.

We hung with Ryan for a bit talking about the day's events,ate some breakfast, went home, and then came back around 3pm. (Just realized this sentence probably doesn't need to be here,,,,,,nonetheless, there it is.)

When we got to the dressing room, we were greeted by a bouquet of flowers....awwwwww

....BUT no booze. Hmmm...I'm on it.

We were restless and Pat got some Birthday Money so he picked up a Grown Man's drink....

Look who came up to hang with us...

..,,,BEER!

(Oh yeah. Mocha was there too)

K needed to warm up and Zac was still sick so he brought out an old time friend...."Mr. Neti Pot."

It's almost Go Time.....i'm too excited...gotta get rid of this boner somehow!!!!

Ryan gave us a pep talk and we headed down to the stage.....

Northampton, MA @ The Calvin Theatre

Today was the first day that it felt cold. We had the day off yesterday so we all hibernated and did whatever it is that we do when we're not together... which is almost never these days... so it takes about half a day of going through old photos and journal entries to figure out what exactly it IS that we like doing when we're by ourselves... anyhoo...

We packed in the Blaze and BLAAAAAAAZZZEEEEEDDD to Massachussetts, the Land of Lincoln {citation needed}. When we got to The Calvin Theatre we loaded in and found that our guitar stand (named Guitar World™) was busted. I went to the nearest hardware that I could find that represents EVERYTHING Jupiter One stands for to get it fixed.

True Value... duh.

Then we drank tea and scavenged snacks, because there was no catering. You see, we've become accustomed to a certain level of comfort on this tour (food and booze til the cows come home), but THIS time we found ourselves with our pants pulled down. "Neither?!!? We're gonna DIE!!" We ate cookies and cheese and lived to see another day.

The Calvin Theatre was a nice place to play. The folks there were really nice. I saw my cousin Johanna for the first time in 15 years or so. She's a super sweetie.

K's friend Patrick came (no relation).

Also my friend Jana Pedersen came. She's from Storrs, CT and does weird things that NOBODY SHOULD EVER KNOW ABOUT!!!! And Jessica Hurley drove two hours with her fiancé and they were sweet as all get out.

We left and ate some gas station chicken wraps and prayed that we wouldn't puke ourselves to sleep. Day off tomorrow, then Wednesday @ RADIO CITY MUSIC HALL!!!

New York City! - K on Saturday Night Live

So K flew back to NYC from Atlanta with Regina's crew while we took the scenic route (read: the BLAZE.) But, while we were goofing off and having tons of fun with no responsibility whatsoever, K was under the tight iron grip of VEIKKO! Regina's tour manager. (gasp!) That man is tall and he doesn't mess around.

The light at the end of K's dark, dark, strudel filled tunnel was Regina's Saturday Night Live show! Here's a clip:

We were super proud to see all those fine folks on stage. Regina sang like a siren, McKenzie was in the pocket, Dan Cho was calm and collected, and K had clean clothes on! Great work guys!

Atlanta --> New York City & Rockwood Music Hall

Zac, Dave and I woke up in a hotel room next to the bar we boozed ourselves in the night before. Nobody can remember for sure right now the exact chain of events that morning, but I'm sure we gassed the Blaze, grabbed a few quarts of coffee and hauled ass, 'cause that's how we roll, ya heard? I drove and practiced different styles of yelling at K, cuz he wasn't there... K!!!!! K!!!!!!!!!! KAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYUUUUHHHOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Destination #1: Margo and Iceman's house.

We've got no pictures of this hang, but what had happinnd wuz... we arrived to a delicious home cooked meal, did a local bar run with Margo, Margo threw up in the toilet as soon as we got home, Iceman's toilet broke and all of us woke up to RotoRooter and bagels. Again: gas, coffee, ass-haul.

Final Destination: New York City! Home sweet home (of weird vans).

We had to shake back to the city ASAP to play a show with our alter-ego band Fancy Colors. (basically Jupiter One + Jeff Taylor + Bob Parins - K) See tiny image below:

We may or may not have gotten a little too excited before the show and may or may not have tried to out-do each other with weirdie tequila and may or may not have been a teensy bit less than the tightest band in the western hemisphere, but... who cares!? ROCKWOOD FRIDAY NIGHT! The Mighty Ken Rockwood was on the mixer and everyone was feelin fine. A bunch of our good friends stopped in including, but not limited to:

Al Hicks and his lady The Lex.

Jon "Ticonderoga Bitchslap" Sordoni

Even Ol' McKenzie made an appearance and got into a gang sign fight with Jeff. Who will win?? Only the Shadow knows. Solid Friday in NYC!!
