DAY 19
DOVER, DE
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We rolled into town around 1am. What's the "place to be" in Dover, Pat? T.G.I. Friday's! oh. We walked in....had a look around at all the locals with their mudslides and Jack Daniel's Chicken Strips...met a couple of Pat's friends....then went to Mr. and Mrs. Dougherty's for some shut-eye. We woke up and put new rear shoes on the Blaze. We watched a documentary on the History Channel about WACO, TX. You know who looked REALLY cool when they were younger? David Koresh. weird.
Off to ROMA! Pat's friend loaned us his monster truck for the day AND fed us free lunch at his Italian restaurant. Guess who ELSE was having lunch?
The Red Hatter's Lunch Club! (they referred to themselves as the "Red Hot Mamas"
We met up with Pat's Mom over at "The Green", we ran onto yet ANOTHER one of Pat's relatives (his 12 year old cousin Alex), I jumped over another bench to kick-off hurdling season (we took a respectable break in lieu of Zac's injury), and then headed to Monmouth University. Nicole was sweet and my family came out (including my Grandparents!). My sister brought me a new pillow and we went home after the show.
