CUTS, SCRAPES, AND SCRATCHES TOUR
Cleveland, OH (Case Western Reserve University)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Panda's phone died last night. After failing to smooth talk some AT&T reps into giving him a new one, we left for Cleveland to try our luck there.
We got into the campus, got SUPER lost, and then loaded everything into "The Spot." The Spot is the campus bar hang where beers are $1.00. not bad. We met Mallory, Eileen, Sarah, Marissa, and all the RA RA RIOT peeps. Really good band with a great singer. We were happy to be playing with these guys (and girls).
After the show, we walked around to the Euclid Tavern and Pat drank the biggest beer I've ever seen.
Everyone was pretty loaded at this point, but I was just hungry. We stopped at the old gas station for some peanut butter, bread......
.... Mad Dog 20/20, and a toothbrush.
We still had some classic poetry on tape and a handle of "Philadelphia" left over...
Then K refused to rewind Pat's favorite poem of Maya's, "Autumn at my Grandma's House."
Luckily, we ran into the two Rachel's who graciously invited us back to their Dorm.....They have a goat-bunny in the "common room." His name is Heff.
We woke up Katie and Nona, but it's okay cuz Nona actually did really well on her test the next morning. K slept in the baby pool.....no idea how we escaped a pic of this one. But I DID find a scratch on my wrist!
