We came home for a week to rehearse the new material and meet with potential producers for album 2. We spent many hours in my SUPER tiny bedroom recording different versions onto Cecil and learning new songs. One of the most memorable moments being that of Zac sitting on Pat's lap while we played an acoustic guitar version of Strange Teacher. It was the only way to get close enough for the mic to pick up the guitar...... (unfortunately no pic to document the homo-erotic moment) But they DID get pics of the after-rehearsal hang at The Levee in Brooklyn.....beer coozies and cheez balls.
We decided to play a free show last Friday since we were home, but the place turned out to be whacked. Some people not getting in based on choice of shoes, others being told we weren't in there anymore, etc. We had no idea this was a "nightclub" of sorts, so we apologize to everyone who had to deal with all those tan people. Sorry!
Zac DID however get a nice cut for the CUTS, SCRAPES, and SCRATCHES TOUR......
It started to rain so the "after party" took place in the van.....Le Silverblaze. That's Jeff Taylor and the back of Ricky Valente's head...
