THE CARRIAGE HOUSE - DAY 9
Stamford, CT
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Zac took the blaze back to NYC to return some amps & guitars. He had dinner with our super hero manager, Ryan, and then picked up me and Pat. We got into the studio and watched K finish up some vocals. Zac laid some down too before we went to bed. Woke up the next morning and literally spent ALL day and night doing percussion overdubs....we also did some background vocals, but I've played enough tambourine to last me through 2008...seriously....A LOT of tambourine.
K had a blast throughout this whole process....
We're leaving for MO the next morning so we REALLY wanted rough mixes for the van....Our hard working engineer, Chris Ribando, busted his ass into the wee hours mixing 14 songs....we love you Chris!!!
Guys, I can't wait to hear the new album. Loving the first one, it is rocking my jocks. Please come to Australia some time soon, or failing that, book some gigs in Japan, so I'll have a really good excuse to go.
wie'll do our best man.....we've actually been trying to define the sound of our new album and I think you said it best...."Jock Rock" it is ;)
