Grand Rapids, MI

For some un-disclosed reason Zac had to sleep in the van last night. It breaks our heart to see him snuggling with his best friend, Sir Robert Burnett, through the cold Cleveland night :(
Wake Up! We're going to Grand Rapids, Michigan and Portugal The Man is playing the same club!
(albeit, the "larger" room, but STILL....the same club)
We got to The Intersection and recruited an innocent moped-ist named Bren to come hang in the van. We briefed him on the different flavors of Burnett...We've tried all but one. (Razzle Dazzle, Lems, Chaz, and Planeside.)
We watched Portugal the Man play an inspiring set, played ours in the "smaller" room, then met some new friends Riley and Sami. It was the bass player's birthday, of Portugal the Man, so we headed to his party at a local's house. But first... The Grand Coney.
It was hard to miss the party cuz there was a GIANT Bon Fire in the backyard?! And with a bon fire, a drum circle is soon to follow. Lame that we have no pics, but there was definitely a lot of drumming/singing/hippie-dancing out there. INSIDE people were dancing to DaftPunk and Gnarls Barkley. Zach had loads to drink, but still remembered everyone's name....impressive. Happy Birthday!
